Rhizome Art

Rhizome is employed here as a figure of speech intended to evoke the imbrication of “fog-sound-mountains-argan trees-and Amazigh communities.” Like the intertwined roots of a Rhizome, this festival was organized around the theme of an artistic residency bringing together an environmentally-based German artist Kalle Aldis Laar working with the sound of ‘fog’ and the Raiss Lahcen Belmouden in a musical game, ecchoing each other in a deep imbrication of humans and environment. We also organized an art production and exhibition along with the music in the Concert hosted at the Agadir French Institute
